Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification for a 13-week travel contract in Decatur, GA.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with float capability to DIC, hospital NM, and Cardiac departments as needed
• Patient volume of 8–10 patients per day
• Top diagnoses include CAD, HTN, Type II Diabetes, cancer, shortness of breath, nausea/vomiting, R/O PE, osteomyelitis, GI bleeding, and RLQ pain
• Equipment used includes Siemens EVO and Siemens INTEVO 6
• 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
• Proficiency with Siemens EVO and Siemens INTEVO 6 scanners preferred
• License required if applicable
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract; if RTO falls on or near a holiday, the maximum is reduced to 3 days
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
• Free parking is available on site
• Gray/pewter scrubs required
