Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and a night shift schedule of 4x12-hour shifts.
Details
- Emergency Department (ER) setting in a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (2:00 PM – 2:00 AM)
- 6 weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday) per 6-week schedule
- 1 on-call shift per 6-week schedule
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates residing within 150 miles of the facility are considered local and may not be eligible for travel pay rates
- The facility conducts its own drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive result
