Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring a CA RN license, NRP certification, and a minimum of 2 years of Level III or IV NICU experience.

Details

• NICU setting within an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Voluntary call required
• Floating to other units as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU required
• Charge experience and high-risk delivery experience strongly preferred
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care including direct patient care, patient and family education, and transitions of care
• Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
