Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position requiring a CA RN license, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of experience, with floating between PACU and Same Day Surgery areas.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with rotation between PACU (Phase I and Phase II) and Same Day Surgery units
- Patient population includes same-day surgery and pre-op patients
- Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts with varied start times
- On-call required as needed, up to 2 times per 4-week schedule
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include comprehensive nursing assessment, care planning, medication administration, and emergency intervention for surgical patients
- Acts as liaison between nursing and medical staff to facilitate a collaborative approach to patient care
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for this assignment
