Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification, ACLS, and experience in interventional and endovascular procedures for a 13-week assignment in Decatur, GA.

Details

  • Work in an Interventional Radiology lab at an acute care hospital setting
  • Experience with coronary CTA and interventional radiology procedures required
  • Endovascular experience preferred
  • 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • On-call rotation of 1 week per month
  • May be required to float to affiliated Emory locations as needed
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of IR Tech experience
  • Active ARRT certification required
  • Current BLS and ACLS required
  • Experience with coronary CTA and interventional radiology procedures required
  • Endovascular experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Responsible for performing complex technical care and multiple diagnostic procedures in appropriate sequence and timeframe
  • Must maintain proper operation of imaging and specialty equipment and stay current on medical device usage
  • Hospital-provided scrubs

  • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum of 18 months separation is required
  • RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract; if RTO falls on or near a holiday, the maximum is reduced to 3 days
  • Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per contract, and consecutive days off during holiday periods may not be approved
