Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist (RN or Scrub Tech) with 2+ years of experience in interventional cardiology for a 13-week travel contract in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab at an acute care hospital located in Sierra Vista, AZ, serving an adult patient population
• Interventional cardiology specialty unit covering cath, stress testing, TEE, and tilt procedures
• GE fluoroscopy equipment in use; hemodynamics transitioning to a new system
• Cerner EHR
• 6:00 AM start time, 36 hours per week
• On-call required on weekends, with call requirements exceeding 12 days
• May float to interventional radiology (IR) on occasion
• Every other weekend commitment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
• RN license or Scrub Tech credentials (RRT or RCIS) required — license required if applicable
• AHA certifications required
• Experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, and IABP preferred
• Pre/post care unit experience preferred
• Cerner EHR experience preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including cath, stress testing, TEE, and tilt table testing
• Biweekly orientation schedule
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• The facility is located in the San Pedro River Valley, 75 miles southeast of Tucson, AZ
