Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of cath lab and/or EP experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a STEMI-accepting acute care facility.

Details

• 13-week travel contract
• Works in a multidisciplinary cardiac cath lab supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing and interventional procedures
• Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization and radiology imaging equipment
• 5x8 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-call required: 10–15 call days per month including 2 weekends, based on facility coverage needs
• 24-hour STEMI-accepting facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience in a US hospital setting required
• RCIS or ARRT certification required
• BLS and ACLS required (AHA only)
• Degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent experience required
• Active license required, no pending licenses — license required if applicable
• US SSN required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

• Supports patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing as well as interventional procedures
• Responsibilities include both scrub and monitoring roles using full catheterization and radiology imaging equipment
• CPI certification is mandated for this position
• All certifications submitted must be AHA-issued
