Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at an acute care hospital in Santa Rosa, CA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and a current CA RN license.

• Labor & Delivery unit within a 277-bed acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (4x12s)
• 4x12 schedule available upon request
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• Floating between like units within the state is required
• Local candidates are not accepted

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery and postpartum experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• Orientation is 36 hours
• Scrubs are provided for L&D nurses
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
• Former permanent staff at a Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
