Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a night shift contract at a 599-bed acute care teaching hospital specializing in neurosurgery cases.

Details

• Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 599 staffed beds
• All neurosurgery cases are performed at this facility
• MRI department equipped with two 3T Siemens magnets (Trio and Skyra)
• Daily caseload of 15–25 patients per tech
• Inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient populations
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• On-call required: 2 call shifts per month
• No floating to sister facilities or within the department outside of scope
• Cerner EMR used; experience required
• No local candidates considered

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings required
• Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required
• Siemens MRI equipment experience required
• Knowledge of neuro exams required, including brains, perfusions, diffusion, and pre/post neurosurgery exams
• Knowledgeable in vascular exams
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT (Advanced) certifications required
• FL MRI license required if applicable; pending state license not accepted
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Commitment to patient safety
