Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day shift contract role at an acute care facility in Fountain Valley, CA, requiring 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure.

Details

• Works in a Nuclear Medicine unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine required
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required
• At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in Nuclear Medicine within the past 2 years required
• Active CA license required for consideration — license required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts allowed)
• At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from the past year from the relevant unit required
• A second professional reference within the past 2 years (charge nurse, co-worker, or educator accepted)

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• No RTO (requested time off) within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; all RTO requests must be confirmed prior to submission and cannot be changed once submitted
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler, and must be approved prior to assignment
• No blocked or self-scheduling permitted
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
