Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level II Trauma, Magnet-status acute care hospital, requiring Epic Stork experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in a 431-bed short-term acute care hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
- Patient ratio of 1:2 with an average daily census of approximately 5 deliveries
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Floating may be required within scope to MBU or NICU to meet facility needs
- Epic (Stork) used for charting
- Special equipment includes Triton for quantitative blood loss (AI technology), Surgicount, and Monica Novii
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
Requirements
- Active VA or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Rate (FHR) monitoring or Relias FHR certification required (facility can provide confirmed travelers access to FHR training prior to assignment start)
- Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
- Epic Stork experience required
- Fetal heart monitoring (FHM) skills required
- Circulating skills required
- Scrubbing and OB assist skills preferred
- All time off requests must be submitted at the time of confirmation

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply

- Excessive time off requests will not be approved
- Navy blue scrubs required
