Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level II Trauma, Magnet-status acute care hospital, requiring Epic Stork experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a 431-bed short-term acute care hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Patient ratio of 1:2 with an average daily census of approximately 5 deliveries
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating may be required within scope to MBU or NICU to meet facility needs
• Epic (Stork) used for charting
• Special equipment includes Triton for quantitative blood loss (AI technology), Surgicount, and Monica Novii
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Rate (FHR) monitoring or Relias FHR certification required (facility can provide confirmed travelers access to FHR training prior to assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
• Epic Stork experience required
• Fetal heart monitoring (FHM) skills required
• Circulating skills required
• Scrubbing and OB assist skills preferred
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of confirmation
