Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU travel position in New Orleans, LA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and the ability to float to multiple ICU units.

Details

• Hospital ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Ability to float to other ICUs, including MICU, Neuro, TICU, and Burn units
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• 4 weekend shifts required per month
• Holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Work history gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum of 5 days of RTO permitted for the duration of the contract
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for consideration
