Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring Epic Stork experience and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a 431-bed short-term acute care hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:2 with an average daily census of approximately 5 deliveries
• Every other weekend is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating is required within scope, with potential float to Mother-Baby Unit (MBU) or NICU
• Charting is performed in Epic (Epic Stork)
• Specialized equipment includes Triton for Quantitative Blood Loss (QBL) using AI technology, Surgicount, and Monica Novii

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Rate (FHR) monitoring certification or Relias FHR certification required (facility can provide confirmed travelers with FHR access prior to assignment start to meet this requirement)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Epic Stork experience is required
• Fetal heart monitoring (FHM) experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Scrubbing and OB assist experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• All time off requests (RTO) must be submitted at the time of confirmation — excessive RTO requests are not accepted and block scheduling cannot be accommodated
