Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Technologist with 1-2 years of CT experience for a 13-week overnight weekend assignment at a comprehensive healthcare system in Winnebago, NE.

• Radiology department within a comprehensive healthcare system in Winnebago, NE
• Dual-modality role covering CT and general diagnostic radiology
• Overnight 12-hour shifts, Friday through Sunday
• Uses PACS for image archiving, electronic editing, and annotation
• Performs routine and complex radiographic and CT examinations across a variety of patient needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of CT training and experience required
• ARRT registration required (R or CT)
• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field plus 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in radiographic exposure techniques, patient positioning, image quality control, and radiation protection standards
• Ability to perform CT and general radiology, with qualification in at least one modality beyond general radiology
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs and stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
• State license required if applicable
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing a wide range of diagnostic radiographic and CT examinations, including nonstandard and complex cases
• Duties include QC for assigned modalities, maintaining and troubleshooting PACS and cassette readers, and managing patient workload and equipment records
• Monitors patients' vital signs and assesses patient needs throughout procedures
• Participates in staff meetings and may recommend adoption of new developments in the radiology field
• Conditions of employment include successful completion of a background check, drug screen, health assessment, immunizations, and TB testing
