Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with strong adult sonography experience and active RDCS or CCI registry for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

  • Hospital-based echo lab with float coverage across inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and procedural settings
  • Adult patient population with focus on echocardiography including 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Definity contrast agent imaging, and TEE
  • Calculations include Simpson's Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, and Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area (PISA)
  • Schedule options: 4x10-hour days (8:00–18:30) or 5x8-hour days (8:00–16:30)
  • No holidays required
  • Weekend rotation every fourth to fifth weekend, in conjunction with call weekend rotation
  • After-hours standby call one weekday per week (Mon–Fri) and every fourth to fifth weekend

Requirements

  • Minimum strong adult echocardiography experience required
  • Active RDCS or CCI registry from ARDMS required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Proficiency in 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, TEE, Bubble Studies, Color Doppler, and contrast agent imaging (Definity)
  • Experience with echo calculations including Simpson's Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, and PISA
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Perform a full range of diagnostic cardiac sonography studies across multiple care settings within the facility
  • Structural heart program experience is preferred
  • No holiday coverage required
