Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Float Pool - Nights position at a regional medical center in Santa Fe, NM, requiring a NM or compact RN license, BLS, and ACLS.
Details
- Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- Assignment is in a hospital Nursing Float Pool, requiring rotation across multiple units
- Weekend availability required
- On-call requirement applies
- Floating to various units is required
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Active NM RN license or current compact state RN license
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA)
- Additional certifications may be required depending on the units floated to
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served
- US Social Security Number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs comprehensive patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and implements timely interventions based on patient needs
- Coordinates team assignments and delegates patient care tasks appropriately, following up on quality and completeness
- Participates in patient and family education as well as discharge planning
- Performs Point of Care testing procedures
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted on all positions
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Copies of all active certifications must be included — expired certifications will result in disqualification
