Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pain Management position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring experience in pain procedures, pre-op, OR, and PACU with active BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Pain Management (Chronic) unit in an outpatient/physician medical center setting
• Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 4x10-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• Weekend work required
• On-call requirement applies
• Floating to other units or locations required

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or current Compact state RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• ACLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a related nursing specialty
• Experience in pain procedures, pre-op, OR, and PACU required
• BSN preferred
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copies of all active certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol and monitors for side effects and effectiveness
• Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Educates patients, family members, and caregivers and identifies appropriate resources
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted on this position
