Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 12-week travel contract in Gallatin, TN, requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ER experience.
Details
- Work setting is a 167-bed acute care hospital Emergency Department serving patients of all ages
- Level III Trauma Center
- Shift runs 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend requirement, with on-call as needed
- Floating required on an as-needed basis
- 12-week contract duration
Requirements
- Active RN license valid in Tennessee (TN state license or compact license) required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale — all must be AHA-issued and in hand prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere
Additional Information
- ENPC or TNCC certification is a plus
- Ideal candidates are professional team players who are willing to learn, support current staff, and respect department expectations
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
- All candidates must be cleared through the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable; casual wear and other facility-branded attire are not permitted
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded — apply and a recruiter can advise on eligibility
