Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for an outpatient mammography position in Olympia, WA.
Details
- Outpatient mammography setting at a 107-bed facility in Olympia, WA
- 1:1 patient ratio with 20-minute appointment slots
- Screening and diagnostic mammography procedures performed
- Uses a GE Mammography System, Change Healthcare PACS (McKesson), and Epic EMR
- 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Thursdays are primarily scheduled as the day off, though this may change
- No weekend rotation, no on-call, and no holiday coverage required
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience
- ARRT (Mammography) certification required
- WA Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- Proficiency in screening and diagnostic mammography
- Bone densitometry experience preferred but not required
- COVID vaccination required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Department is supported by a Receptionist/Registration Specialist
- A manager interview is required as part of the hiring process
- Gray scrubs required
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved, with the possibility of extending the contract to accommodate
- One reference is sufficient for initial consideration; a second reference from a supervisor or above will be required prior to start
