Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a full-service Nuclear Medicine department at a large hospital.

Details

  • Full-service Nuclear Medicine department within a large acute care hospital
  • Patient ratio of 1:5
  • Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Weekends are not required but available for additional pick-up shifts
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required; 3+ years preferred
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • ARRT (Nuclear Medicine Technology) certification required
  • Large hospital experience required
  • Valid state license required if applicable
  • Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers will not be considered
  • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

  • This is a high-volume, busy Nuclear Medicine unit
  • Candidates who were previously employed at this facility as permanent or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before returning
  • If end-of-year holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers may be required to work up to 2 of the 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
  • Up to 1 holiday RTO restriction applies
  • All requested time off must be submitted upfront; RTO not listed at the time of consideration will not be approved
