Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring OASIS and HCHB EMR experience, with on-call responsibilities and a geriatric patient population.

Details

Home health setting serving a geriatric patient population
Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of weekend visits
5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call is required; details to be discussed during the interview
Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office
HCHB EMR experience required
iPad provided for charting and field use

Requirements

Active RN license (OK or Compact) currently in hand
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent home health RN experience required
OASIS experience required
HCHB EMR experience required
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Additional Information

Provide skilled nursing visits and assessments to geriatric home health patients across an assigned territory
Traveler is expected to be flexible with territory coverage within the 60-mile radius
Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel rate
Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
All time-off requests must be submitted prior to or at the start of the assignment
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
