Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Golden, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and active AHA certifications including NIHSS.

Details

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting within a hospital
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend availability required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• EMR: Epic (charting)

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — must not expire prior to start date
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ICU patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment supportive to patient life and well-being
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, and documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• 13-week contract
