Description

American Traveler is hiring a Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience at a large Level I Trauma Center academic medical center, providing bi-campus coverage across two locations.

Details

• Position is based in the Interventional Radiology unit of a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center academic medical center with 1,500+ staffed beds
• Bi-campus coverage required across two hospital campuses
• 4x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• Call shifts are available to pick up on a voluntary basis
• Charts using Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• Trauma center experience at a large facility required
• License required if applicable — pending license accepted, but must be active prior to start date
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required; religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• OR scrubs in Misty Green are provided by the facility
• Parking is available at a cost of $125
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• RTO of 7 days or fewer may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• 1 reference required for consideration
