Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position in a rural Vermont hospital setting, requiring a VT or compact RN license and at least 1 year of current LDRP experience.

Details

  • LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) unit in a rural hospital setting
  • High-volume delivery environment, with the facility performing 400+ deliveries per year
  • Experience with C-sections, epidurals, venipuncture, and electronic charting is preferred

Requirements

  • Active VT RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • AFM, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E certifications are highly preferred but may be obtained during onboarding
  • Minimum 1 year of current LDRP experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred
  • 2 supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment required for consideration
  • Skills checklist specific to Labor & Delivery completed within the last year required for consideration

Additional Information

  • This position is located in Brattleboro, VT, a very rural area with limited housing options and limited public transportation — candidates should research accommodations prior to applying
  • The facility may have limited on-site housing available for rent, subject to availability
  • RTO requests are limited to no more than 5 days for this assignment
  • Prior travel nursing experience is strongly preferred for this role
