Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position at a Level III Trauma facility in New Hampshire, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• 10-bed ICU unit at a Level III Trauma facility
• Patient population spans adolescent to geriatric
• RN-to-patient ratio of 2:1
• May float to PCU
• Proficiency with IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasopressors required
• Arterial line experience required

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required and must be in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Arterial line experience required
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated
• RTO must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — requests made after an offer is extended will not be approved, and late requests may result in a rescinded offer
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be considered for this assignment
• Charge nurse and preceptor experience is a plus
