Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care (LTC/SNF) position working night shifts with a patient ratio of up to 1:12 and a minimum of one year of LTC/SNF experience.

• Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting
• Patient ratio of 1:9–12
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend availability required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active SC or Compact RN license required prior to start (pending license accepted for consideration)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of LTC/SNF experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Must be comfortable working in an LTC/SNF environment
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial application; RTO requests made after submission will not be considered
• A Cardiac Dysrhythmia competency test is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed on the first attempt
• The facility maintains an attendance policy for travelers — missing more than two shifts in a 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review or cancellation
