Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week day shift contract at a Level III Trauma teaching hospital.

Details

  • Short-term acute care hospital with 733 staffed beds, designated as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
  • Interventional Radiology unit
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Weekend and call shifts required
  • Any missed scheduled shifts may be required to be made up at the department's discretion
  • Charting in Epic
  • Floating within scope to meet facility needs or between like units may be required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
  • ARRT certification required
  • Active state or compact license required; pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position
  • RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general maximum of 4 days
  • Only one holiday off can be approved per contract
  • Pre-start online modules are required (estimated 4–10 hours)
  • Scrubs are provided
  • Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning
  • Travelers are limited to one contract extension before being required to be away for at least 6 months prior to returning
