Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced EP Lab RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Missouri, requiring at least 1 year of EP experience and the ability to circulate, monitor, and scrub EP procedures.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting, working in a 2-room EP Lab with 3 EP providers
- Average daily census of 4–8 EP procedures per day, including EP cases and implants
- Performs circulating, conscious sedation, monitoring, and scrubbing of EP procedures
- Uses the Biosense Webster Mapping system
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Free parking available on-site
- Scrubs are provided
Requirements
- Active MO RN license required at time of consideration (compact license accepted if it includes MO)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of EP lab nursing experience required
- Proficiency in circulating, conscious sedation, scrubbing, and telemetry monitoring required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Travelers may work at this facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
- Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not eligible for this position
