Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 3 Nursery experience for a night shift travel assignment in a hospital-based respiratory/neuro diagnostics unit.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Level 3 Nursery (NICU) patient population, including attendance at C-Sections
• Intra-hospital patient transports required
• Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• Preferred schedule is 48 hours per week, with flexibility for a 36/48 rotating schedule
• Every other weekend required
• 2 Fridays worked per 4-week schedule
• No on-call required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• CRTT or RRT credential required
• Active LA license required if applicable; pending LA license may be considered for August starts
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (NRP required for NICU work)
• Level 3 Nursery experience required
• Ability to attend C-Sections required
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps exceeding 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services including transports within the hospital
• Must be able to attend C-Sections as needed
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for consideration
