Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring Epic EMR proficiency and post-surgical cardiovascular patient care experience, with night shift scheduling.

Details

• 13-week contract at an acute care hospital in Greenville, SC
• Cardiac Telemetry unit caring for patients with diagnoses including CAD S/P CABG, cardiac valve repair, lung cancer S/P VATS, and esophageal cancer
• Includes post-surgical cardiovascular patient care
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required, though scheduling may adjust based on unit need
• Floating to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses may be required based on census; travelers will only float to units for which competencies have been demonstrated
• Omnicell medication dispensing system in use
• Epic EMR in use; 1 year of experience required

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Telemetry unit experience required; first-time travelers must have at least 3 years of specialty experience
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with cardiac drips and insulin drips required
• Experience with post-surgical cardiovascular patients required
• Must be able to pass an EKG exam prior to start
• Driver's license and Social Security Number required for consideration

• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Night shift Cardiac Telemetry travelers must reside at least 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible; candidates under 50 miles are not eligible
• Candidates residing 100+ miles from all Prisma Health facilities are eligible at the standard travel rate
