Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience and ARDMS (RDCS) certification.

Details

• Outpatient or inpatient echocardiography setting within a healthcare facility
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• No call, float, or weekend requirements
• Documentation via Meditech Expanse; communication using SBAR methodology
• Omnicell medication management system in use

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Echo/Cardiac Sonographer experience required; candidates with less experience may be considered with the right background
• Active ARDMS (RDCS) certification required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced travel pay rate
