Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 1-2 years of NICU experience and NICU Level II & III background.

- NICU setting within a hospital environment
- Level II and Level III NICU experience required
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Late stay on-call required as needed
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active SC or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted if obtained prior to start date
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required; 2 years preferred
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and NRP Advanced
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
- NICU Level II and Level III clinical experience required
- Recent Epic EMR experience preferred
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO requests submitted after the fact will not be honored
- Orientation includes pass/fail testing: Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test (required for all units) and Moderate Sedation Test (required for ICU); travelers have one attempt to pass
- The facility maintains an attendance policy for travelers — missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review and potential cancellation
