Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 3 Nursery experience for a night shift travel assignment requiring the ability to attend C-sections and perform in-hospital transports.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Preferred schedule is 48 hours per week, with flexibility for a rotating 36/48-hour schedule
• Every other weekend required
• 2 Fridays worked per 4-week schedule
• No on-call requirements
• In-hospital patient transports required
• Level 3 Nursery setting with NICU involvement
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• CRTT or RRT credential required
• Active Louisiana (LA) license required at time of start
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (required for NICU work)
• Level 3 Nursery experience required
• Ability to attend C-sections required
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a NICU/Level 3 Nursery environment, including attendance at C-sections
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
