Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in a multi-population respiratory care unit requiring experience in neonatal, adult critical care, and emergency settings.

Details

• Position is located in a 99-bed respiratory care department within an inpatient hospital setting
• Patient population spans newborn to adult, including neonatal, adult critical care, and emergency patients
• Required experience areas include neonatal (NEO), adult critical care, and ER
• Equipment used includes PB 980, Servo N, V60, Airvo, and ABL90
• EMR system is Epic
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• Every other weekend requirement of 12 hours
• Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of experience as stated in the posting; however, 2 years of recent specialty experience is generally preferred
• Experience in neonatal (NEO), adult critical care, and emergency respiratory therapy required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number (SSN) required
• EKG testing must be completed as part of the consideration process (2 attempts allowed; if unsuccessful, candidate may reapply in 30 days)

• Grey scrubs are required; a neat and professional appearance is expected
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a reduced bill rate
• This is a replacement position for a vacant role
