Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an EP Lab position requiring both EP and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies, with Epic experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Work in an Invasive Cardiology unit comprising 4 dedicated Cardiac Cath Labs and 2 dedicated EP Labs with 23 prep/recovery bays
- Unit performs over 6,000 procedures per year, including complex coronary procedures, VAD/ECMO, structural heart procedures (TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping), complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implant and explanation, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention, and pulmonary embolectomy
- Day shift schedule working 4x10-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
- Candidates must be available to stay until the last patient is cared for
- Floating required as needed
- No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess clinical fit before being forwarded to the manager for a final decision; a manager interview is required
- May be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients
- This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the duration of the contract; all time off requests must be submitted upfront

Sometimes the schedule can be confusing with rotating shifts and call schedules that don’t align well with your scheduled shifts. But again if there is a major concern they’ll try and work with you on it!
