Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an EP Lab position requiring EP and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies, Epic proficiency, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Works in an Invasive Cardiology unit comprised of 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs and 2 dedicated Electrophysiology Labs, with 23 prep/recovery bays
• Unit performs over 6,000 procedures per year, including complex coronary procedures, VAD/ECMO, structural heart procedures (TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping), complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implant and explant, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention, and pulmonary embolectomy
• Day shift schedule working 4x10-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Candidates must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for
• Floating required on an as-needed basis
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Additional Information

• Candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess fit before being forwarded to the hiring manager; a manager interview is required
• May be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients
