Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Medical-Surgical Direct Observation Unit (2 East Clinical Decision Unit) position at an acute care teaching hospital, requiring PCU experience and vasoactive drip proficiency.

Details

• Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 332 staffed beds
• Medical/Telemetry Observation Unit (2 East Clinical Decision Unit)
• Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Floating required across all 3 affiliated hospitals (Martin North, Martin South, and Tradition — all within approximately 20 miles)
• Charting via Epic
• Block scheduling is not available
• 26-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS required at time of consideration; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 18 months of telemetry or acute care experience required; 2 years preferred
• PCU experience required
• Vasoactive drip experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Must be nicotine-free (negative 10-panel + nicotine/cotinine drug screen required)
