Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with adult ICU and general care experience for a night shift travel assignment at an academic medical center.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment at an academic medical center
• Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Adult ICU and general care patient population
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend required
• Floating is required
• Holiday coverage expected for approximately 50% of holidays during the contract
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active RRT license required; license must be active (MO or Compact) prior to consideration
• Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience, with at least 1 year in the specialty
• Adult ICU and general care experience required
• 2 professional references required
• Must be able to perform physical duties including ambulating, reaching, and lifting objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced rate
• Pending license will be accepted for this position
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront
• This is an active, physical role in a 24/7 healthcare facility that may involve exposure to contagious illnesses
• Rotating shifts, holiday coverage, and availability during inclement weather are expected
