Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring 3+ years of RN experience including travel PACU experience, with day/night rotating shifts at an academic medical center in Boston, MA.

• PACU unit within a large academic medical center in Boston, MA
• 36-hour work week with a 50% day/night rotating schedule
• Up to 2 weekend shifts required per month
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Epic (charting experience required)

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required — AHA only (Red Cross not accepted at this location)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel PACU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of academic medical center experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• Active MA license must be in hand at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the Boston facility are eligible to apply but will receive a reduced pay rate
• No validated parking available at Boston location — public transportation or paid public parking ($17–$22/day) recommended
• Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
