Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience and at least one prior completed travel assignment.

• Work setting is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center children's hospital
• Assignment is in the Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU (CVPICU)
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekends required on an as-needed basis; weekend block scheduling may be considered
• Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles is possible, though cross-campus floating is rare
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licensure is not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience required; 3+ years preferred
• BSN preferred for this position
• At least one completed prior travel nursing assignment required
• Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; no RTO requests will be accepted after an offer has been made
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment period, travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 of the 3 fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered
• First-time travelers are not accepted; at least one completed travel assignment is required (exceptions may be considered for candidates with 3+ years of recent experience)
• Former permanent or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return
