Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PET Scanning unit at an ambulatory diagnostic imaging clinic, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARRT-N or NMTCB certification.

Details

• Ambulatory clinic setting within a diagnostic imaging center
• PET Scanning unit serving an outpatient population
• Average of 13–17 patients per day
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• No weekend rotation, no call, and no holiday coverage required
• EMR: Epic
• No floating required
• Small, tight-knit team with peer tech support

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine
• ARRT-N or NMTCB certification required
• Current BLS required
• IV start skills required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information

• Orientation is 3–5 days of departmental training depending on modality
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Black scrubs required

• Candidates who have worked a permanent position at an affiliated facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered
