Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PET Scanning unit at an ambulatory diagnostic imaging clinic, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARRT-N or NMTCB certification.
Details
- Ambulatory clinic setting within a diagnostic imaging center
- PET Scanning unit serving an outpatient population
- Average of 13–17 patients per day
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- No weekend rotation, no call, and no holiday coverage required
- EMR: Epic
- No floating required
- Small, tight-knit team with peer tech support
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine
- ARRT-N or NMTCB certification required
- Current BLS required
- IV start skills required
- Active state license required if applicable
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
- Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
Additional Information
- Orientation is 3–5 days of departmental training depending on modality
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Black scrubs required
- Free parking available on site
- Candidates who have worked a permanent position at an affiliated facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered
- RTO requests require manager approval
