Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Iowa, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a prior completed travel contract.

Details

• General medical/surgical floor setting focused on post-operative patients requiring overnight stays
• Telemetry monitoring of post-op patient population
• Epic EMR used (experience preferred)
• Floating required within the same discipline across local campuses

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license required; if applying from IL, both an active IL RN license and an active IA RN license are required
• Current BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 prior completed travel contract required
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• Candidates must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Provides care to post-operative patients requiring overnight observation on a general med/surg floor
• Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• RTO during the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year's holiday windows is limited to 1 day per window
• Candidates who have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months are not eligible
