Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position in Issaquah, WA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Details

• Hospital-based Cath Lab/EP unit setting
• Patient population includes cardiac catheterization, STEMI, EP lab, interventional radiology, peripheral vascular, biopsies (GI, GU/Renal), and stent placement procedures
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• On-call requirement of at least one weekday and one weekend per month; shifts may be 8 or 10 hours with additional days and weekends depending on staffing and vacation coverage
• Floating between all facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or valid compact RN license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP nursing experience required
• Proficiency in blood/blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket use, 12-lead EKG acquisition, and syringe pumps
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• All required certifications must be current and on file

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff of any Providence/Swedish facility must have been separated for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem), including location and dates
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
