Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer with a full vascular skill set and prior travel experience for an Echo/Cardiac position requiring RDCS and RVT certifications.

Details

• Cardiovascular and vascular sonography setting with a full range of vascular procedures
• Procedures include renal studies, pre-op assessments, pain mapping, and other detailed vascular work
• Average of 7–8 scans per day
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• On-call requirement of 1–2 call shifts per week and 1–2 weekends per month

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of current Cardiovascular and Vascular Sonographer experience
• At least 1 prior travel contract completed
• RDCS and RVT certifications required
• ARDMS or CCI certification required
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Active Iowa license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years preferred

Additional Information

• Perform a full range of vascular sonography procedures including renal studies, pre-op assessments, pain mapping, and advanced vascular imaging
• Candidates who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday holiday periods
