Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring telemetry skills, Epic experience, and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes telemetry, cardiac monitoring, COPD, CAD, CHF, AFib, sepsis, and COVID cases
• Skills utilized include cardiac drips, bedside cardioversion, chest tubes, IV insertion, and emergency response
• Uses Epic EMR (experience required)
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of PCU or relevant RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in telemetry, cardiac monitoring, chest tube management, IV insertion, cardiac drips, and bedside cardioversion
