Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position in Albuquerque, NM, requiring OASIS and HCHB proficiency with a geriatric patient population.
Details
- Home health setting serving a geriatric patient population
- Average caseload of 6–7 patients per day
- Minimum of 30 points required per week
- Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00–17:00)
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NM RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health RN experience required
- OASIS proficiency required
- HCHB EMR experience required
- Must be flexible with territory coverage
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel pay rate
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
- Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
- Cell phone and iPad are provided
- Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- Timely communication is expected throughout the assignment
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
