Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and current AHA certifications.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 18:00–06:30
• 13-week contract
• Emergency Department setting with potential for boarded patient care
• Epic EMR used
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• May float within the facility or to sites within 40 miles based on skill set

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A updated yearly, Group B–F updated every 2 years)
• MOAB or CPI non-violent crisis intervention training required (8-hour course, renewed every 2 years)
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• May be assigned to care for boarded patients within the ED
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate based on proximity to the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
