Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Breast Sonography for a 13-week travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and current ARDMS certification.

Details

  • Outpatient oncology/radiology setting at a cancer center
  • Specialty focus on breast ultrasound imaging
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday, rotating between 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • 36–40 hours per week, 5x8-hour shifts
  • Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience; candidates with 1 year may be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • ARDMS certification required; BR (Breast) credential preferred
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Pending state license accepted, but must be obtained prior to start date
  • License required if applicable
  • 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • Block scheduling is not available
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests made after submission will not be honored
  • A Cardiac Dysrhythmia competency test is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed; candidates have one attempt
  • Attendance policy is in effect: missing more than two shifts during the 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
