Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehab unit at a short-term acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and active Epic proficiency.

Details

  • Inpatient rehabilitation unit at a 108-bed short-term acute care hospital
  • Tuesday through Saturday schedule, day shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 5x8-hour shifts)
  • Weekend coverage required — 1 regular weekend shift per week
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • Position may float between facilities within the state
  • Epic EMR used; experience required

Requirements

  • Active OT license required if applicable
  • Minimum 2 years of inpatient OT experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • Active professional license required at time of consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
  • Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination
  • Any color scrubs are acceptable for this position
