Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 3 years of experience and strong OB background for a 13-week night shift assignment in Washington State.

• Community hospital setting in Grays Harbor, WA
• Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy department
• 12-hour night shifts, 1730–0600
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required (license required if applicable)
• Active RRT certification required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Strong OB experience required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist and from wheelchair to bed level
• Ability to lift 5 lbs overhead
• Ability to pull 50 lbs from stretcher to bed and push a 150 lb loaded stretcher 300 feet
• Sufficient auditory ability to perform procedures and take accurate blood pressures
• Adequate vision to observe patients and perform charting procedures
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing individualized comprehensive respiratory care based on patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Reports to the Cardiopulmonary Director; expected to function with minimal supervision once oriented
• Must be a team player
• All requested time off (RTO) must be pre-approved and will be added to the end of the contract
• Located near Pacific Northwest beaches and Olympic National Forest
